For the fourth year, WAY Radio partnered with Southeastern Bank and a few business sponsors to provide blessings to area residents who need something positive to happen for them. During November and December, WAY Radio asked listeners to nominate an individual or a family who, through no fault of their own, were facing a tough time right now. Entries for “Christmas Blessings” went to the staff at Southeastern Bank and a total of nine recipients were chosen to receive a $500 blessing to help make Christmas better this year. Bart Wagner, from the WAY Radio morning show spoke with many of the listeners who did the nominating and found out some powerful stories.
