Year-End Giving

At WAY Radio, we’re grateful that you are part of our listening family. We’re able to HAVE a listening family because of our financial partners, because without partners, we wouldn’t be able to continue. As 2020 FINALLY winds down, would you consider joining the financial partners in making sure that WAY Radio is there for you and your neighbors in 2021? A gift given in December will still count as a tax-deductible contribution … which could help you pay a little less in taxes when April rolls around. Giving is quick and simple on our website, HERE, or if you prefer to mail in a gift, make out your check to WAY Radio and send it to 1426 Newcastle Street, Suite 200; Brunswick GA 31520. As long as it gets in the mail before the clock strikes midnight, it will help us end 2020 strong and ready to minister to you in the next year. THANK YOU!

Wild Adventures Christmas Is Waiting

“Wild Adventures Christmas” continues through December 27! Enjoy the more than one million lights and the snow. Enjoy making memories with your friends. Enjoy getting away from it all, even if just for a few hours. Wild Adventures is a reasonably priced park that your whole family can enjoy, just a short drive from the Golden Isles. Christmas Music Is Here!

It’s the time of the year for “White Christmas”, “Mary Did You Know”, “Jingle Bell Rock” and “O Come All Ye Faithful”. Between now and New Year’s Day, you’ll be able to enjoy your favorite Christmas tunes from Mercy Me, Bing Crosby, Steven Curtis Chapman, Burl Ives, Chris Tomlin, Amy Grant, and even Trans-Siberian Orchestra. As you’re shopping, or trimming the tree, or just going about your regular day-to-day events … WAY Radio’s Christmas music will help you to “make the season bright”.

Christmas Parade!

The Annual Brunswick Christmas Parade is held on Saturday, December 5. This fun and festive community event is the perfect event to get in the holiday spirit. The parade takes place in the evening, making it an excellent time to take in all of the lights and decorations that adorn each float. The lively parade is hallmarked by high school marching bands, community groups and, of course, Santa Claus himself! The parade will begin at 5:30 pm along Gloucester Street in downtown Brunswick.

Giving Tuesday

Everyone knows about Black Friday … that’s the day that we all get great deals at retailers leading up to Christmas. Initially it was fairly common for businesses to get out of the red and into the black financially for the year. We all spend a lot of money on Black Friday because we love our family and friends and want to give them things. After all the Bible does say it’s better to give than it is to receive …

Carrying that thought over a few days, a few years back “Giving Tuesday” was begun as a day of generosity. The Tuesday immediately after Black Friday became one of the biggest donation days of the year for many non-profits, including WAY Radio. If you’d like to take part in this day of generosity, we want to make it easy for you right here on the website. Clicking HERE will take you to our donate page. Thank you for being generous, and in doing so helping to spread the love of Jesus through YOUR radio station.

Thanksgiving – Thanking God

At this time of year we begin to reflect on what we’re thankful for. It could be easy to just be thankful without remembering WHO we should be thankful TO. We’re thankful for God’s gift of salvation. We’re thankful for friends and family. We’re thankful for jobs. We’re thankful for our church. We’re thankful for a free country. We’re even thankful for frustrating technology.

But it’s God who provides all things for us. God meets our needs, as it says in Philippians 4:19. Join the staff and the other listeners of WAY Radio in spending some time being thankful to God for all He is and for all He does.

Want to go public with your thankfulness? Leave us a recorded comment that we can use on the air … 912-342-4106.

Our Friendraiser was held on Thursday, May 14, 2020.  It was wonderful to hear from so many new and current donors who wanted to make sure that WAY Radio was fully funded. While we didn’t quite reach our goal, you could still help by getting involved now.  If you click on the link below you’ll be taken to our Donate portal that gives you all the options.  Thank you for standing with us as we watched God be the “Waymaker” and together we're reaching southeast Georgia with God’s love, expressed through music.

WAY Radio is supported by those who care about the community enough to partner with us to provide music and programming that can change a life.  WAY Radio exists to share the Gospel through Christian music so that believers are encouraged and non-believers are converted.  When you give financially, you're joining us in ministry.  Thanks for considering your level of support!

To help, many churches are putting their services online. WAY Radio would like to provide as comprehensive a list as possible. If your church would like to be added to the list, email us all of the information here.

Encouragement from musicians

The artists that you hear on WAY Radio are out on the road much of the year playing their music for you and for others … but most of them, just like you … are now at home due to the CoronaVirus pandemic. Still, they wanted to share with you.
