College Fair

College Fair with Food Trucks, open to the public for all middle and high school students to be held in the gymnasium at Brunswick Christian Academy beginning at 3 PM and going to 7:00 PM with Killer Roast Beef & Shrimp and Kona Ice starting at 4 PM.

So far the list of schools include:

Walk for Life

The 13th Annual Walk for Life is an annual fundraising event where Walkers seek pledges in advance to support the work of Skylark serving women and families in our community and Southeast Georgia. Churches, organizations, businesses, and individuals can register their teams online at helloskylark.com/walk.

In efforts to double the number of walkers this year, prize incentives are new to the program this year, along with the opportunity to attend the inaugural Champions for Life Dinner event this summer, ” recognition will go to the Top Walker, Top Team, and on the day of the event, one team will receive the “Shining Bright” award for showing the most spirit on the day of the Walk.

All funds raised benefit the three (3) Medical Clinics in Glynn, Camden and Wayne County, Mobile Unit, BRAVEheart Teen Initiative Program, and its many parenting programs in our community.

About Skylark – Since 1992, Skylark has served over 23,500 clients in Southeast Georgia offering free services for pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease testing, and ultrasounds.

Free Movie Night

The Brunswick DDA free movie series continues with a romantic comedy just in time for Valentine’s Day. Come to Queen Square
on Saturday, February 19 with your sweetheart to enjoy Groundhog Day (featuring Bill Murray) thanks to our sponsors, The Wick, Port City Partners, Mainstreet Frame Shop, Brunswick Landing Marina, Tommy Sweeney Country Financial, The Islander and Golden Isles Broadcasting. We will have popcorn, cotton candy and food trucks for you too.

Chosen the Movie

Featuring Dean Cain and Kevin Sorbo, Chosen highlights the realities and joys of foster care & adoption – Everyone Deserves a Family!

RSVP is not required but highly recommended so that we can plan for your arrival.

Foster Love Ministries and several sponsoring Churches have made it possible to bring the film Chosen to our community ahead of a it’s national theater release. Bring your family, friends and church groups for a night out at the movies, meet the film producer, Jason Campbell, and learn how you can make a lasting impact in the life of a child right here in our community.

There will be a concession stand. Tickets are free with a donation of any amount and are available online or at the door the night of the event with a suggested donation of $10 per adult ticket. Additionally a love offering will be taken to help cover costs of bringing the film to Brunswick. This is a Family Friendly Movie so load up your cars and invite your neighbors and friends to join you!

New Year’s Eve Shrimp Drop

Join in on the countdown as we say goodbye to 2021 and welcome 2022 at 8pm with Bob the Shrimp! The Brunswick Downtown Development Authority invites you to the annual Shrimp Drop on Friday, December 31 beginning at 6pm for live music from The Pine Box Dwellers, food, axe throwing, and fun inflatables for the kids at Mary Ross Waterfront Park.
