THE BRUNSWICK CHRISTMAS PARADE

The annual community Brunswick Christmas parade is the first Saturday in December. The Christmas parade is a night-time parade.

First Friday in Historic Downtown Brunswick is a fun family event that happens the first Friday of each month. We close the streets from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM so you can come down and enjoy live music, special discounts from downtown merchants, a car show and so much more!

Crafts Along Newcastle

Talented local artisans showcase their handmade crafts in the beautiful downtown squares of historic Brunswick. A wide variety of crafts and mediums are featured including pottery, jewelry, fabric, wood, photography, leather, basketry, and gourmet food items (such as honey and spices). This is an excellent opportunity to find the perfect gift, or treat yourself to something special.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING

Historic Downtown Brunswick’s Christmas Tree Lighting is the Friday after Thanksgiving. The tree lighting will be at Queen Square with the reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas”, Christmas music performed by a quartet from Coastal Symphony of Georgia, kids will be able to visit Santa, and of course a carriage ride so you can enjoy the holiday lights and decorations at each of the Signature Squares along Newcastle Street in Historic Downtown Brunswick.

Jekyll Island Lions Club Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser

Come out, play and help the blind see! The Jekyll Island Lions Club is hosting a cornhole tournament on November 6th! Funds raised from this tournament will be used to assist the blind and sight impaired in southeast Georgia and support vision programs. This is also an American Cornhole League Local Points tournament. Players can win cash prizes and accrue local ACL points! PRE-REGISTER at app.iplayacl.com or register day of play! Peaches to Beaches

Peaches to the Beaches is a community wide yard sale extending along 341. However, this event is more than just a yard sale! Downtown Brunswick’s Peaches to Beaches has a wide variety of vendors including locally made goods, food, and more!

Peaches to the Beaches has been postponed for 2021 to be held on Friday and Saturday August 6th and 7th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Mary Ross Waterfront Park.

The earliest set up time is 6:00 AM that Friday, August 6th. Space is limited and will be first come, first serve. Space fee is $50 and $60 respectively.

August First Friday

Ahhhh…August. School starts back up, Labor Day is just around the corner and in Historic Downtown Brunswick on Friday, August 6th it’s First Friday! Come check out the classic cars, live music, the food trucks and libations. Stroll from square to square and shop to shop along Newcastle Street while catching up with family and friends on Friday, August 6 during First Friday. #discoverbrunswick #firstfriday
