Downtown Brunswick Trunk or Treat
Join WAY Radio’s Buzz and Woody (Bart and Patrick) as downtown Brunswick comes to life. Your family can enjoy fun, Christian music, and treats for the children. Hosted by First Baptist Church of Brunswick and the Downtown Development Authority, with music provided by WAY Radio, the corner of Newcastle Street and Gloucester Street will come alive between 5:30 – 7:30 pm on Thursday, October 31.
4th Annual Inspire Experience
Inspire Experience, an annual Christian Women’s Retreat will take place from dinner on Friday, March 15 through Saturday evening, March 16, 2024. The event will be held at Community Church St. Simons Campus located at 2700 Frederica Road. Created in 2018, Inspire was designed for women of all ages and backgrounds to build connections, deepen relationships in Christ, and learn new ways to impact our community and world. Inspire creates smaller spaces for deeper things, through worship, engaging speakers, and conversations in small groups. This year’s theme is “Rooted”. The two-day event in March will include two speakers throughout the weekend. Friday evening after dinner and worship, we will hear stories from Shana Powell. Shana is an Executive Director of US Missions for Cru! Cru’s vision is creating movements everywhere so that everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus. She offers a unique perspective of how God is moving in young people across America today. Sarah Ott Deyton of Establish Her, is bringing a timely message throughout Saturday. Establish Her is a ministry that exists for women who desire more intimacy in Christ, not just activity for Him. Her passion is to make much of Jesus in every environment, gathering, and teaching. Her first published book, Establish Her, teaches about the importance of depth in being ROOTED in our relationship with the Lord A fabulous retreat weekend is being planned with surprises along the way for everyone attending! A Silent Disco will take place on Friday evening after our main stage gathering. Saturday is bringing a new afternoon party for everyone to participate in different activities. You will be glad you came! As we have witnessed every year, God is already going before us. He knows our hearts and longs for us to take time away from our busy everyday lives and listen to His voice.
