North Island Healing Prayer Ministries Level 1 Class

It is our belief that God desires all His children to walk in perfect health – spiritually, physically and emotionally. With that goal in mind, we have begun a prayer ministry called North Island Healing Prayer Ministries. The ministry and classes are modeled after the school in Jacksonville, Florida called Christian Healing Ministries. Our teachers/prayer ministers have been through the classes in Jacksonville and/or the classes held at North Island Church. We are offering classes for training and seating is limited. Our classes are opened to everyone whether you want to become a prayer minister or if you want to work on your own personal spiritual, physical and emotional health. This is 3 day class starting on Thursday 9:30am – 9pm, Friday 9:30am – 9pm and Sunday 2pm – 6pm. There is a $175 fee for this event however, if the $50 deposit is paid by May 1st and remainder paid on May 7th there is a $30 discount. A workbook book is included in the fee.

Skylark Annual Fundraiser Banquet

Join Skylark’s 28th Annual Fundraiser Banquet!

2020 brought new challenges. Can you imagine what it would feel like if, in addition to all of the unexpected events that have occurred this year, you found out you were facing an unplanned pregnancy? This is a story we have heard numerous times during this pandemic, and Skylark is grateful that we have had the opportunity to be available for these women. One thing that we celebrate this year is that through God’s faithfulness, Skylark was able to remain OPEN to serve women in our community with compassion, care, and hope!

We are so excited to share with you what God has been up to at Skylark, as well as the future vision for the ministry. We hope you can join us this year for our Annual Banquet!

Facing Trauma – Look at Your Past to Enable a Brighter Future

Trauma has been defined as “a wound to the soul.” This means that anytime there is a wounding of our mind, will or emotions, we have experienced trauma. How trauma impacts us is as unique as our fingerprints, but there are also some common results to going through something traumatic. In this workshop, our therapists will cover this topic with grace, empathy and wisdom, resourcing guests on what trauma is, how it impacts us, and what we can do for ourselves and those we love when something traumatic occurs.

Mitch McVicker (of Ragamuffin Band) and Summer Frost

Mitch McVicker, who played with Rich Mullins in the Ragamuffin Band, is coming to Murray Hill Theatre!
Mitch’s live show is MacGyver meets Mark Twain, with stories of real life, hope, and love woven into songs performed on multiple instruments and a junkyard drum set that features kitchen items, a hubcap, and a pink plastic yard flamingo affectionately known as “Flossie” among other things. The stories behind the songs are funny and touching, and only serve to add even more punch to the songs.
Summer Frost is a favorite from Green Cove Springs and will be opening the night. A show you’ll remember!
