Please join us at First Baptist Church St. Simons Island for our annual VBS! This year, we have an unforgettable theme that is sure to be a blast! We are continuing with Lifeway curriculum again this year. Our theme is Breaker Rock Beach! Kids will be challenged as they discover that God’s truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love. Adventure awaits each day as kids explore tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock! (Side note – we are not actually going to the beach. But, our decorations will make it feel like they are!) God’s word is rock solid in a world of shifting sands. Twists and Turns Vacation Bible School
Frederica Baptist Church presents Twists & Turns Vacation Bible School in our new building at 65 Marsh’s Edge Lane on SSI for children entering K-5 up to entering 6th grade. Twists & Turns is a fantastical celebration of games of all kinds. Kids will play their way through VBS while learning that Jesus guides them through all the twists and turns of their lives. They’ll find that even when they mess up it’s never “game over.”

We are engaged in an epic battle for the hearts and minds of our youth. Every day, they are bombarded with lies about who they are, who their Creator is, and where their salvation comes from. Thankfully, God has given his children armor to wear in this battle between truth and lies, light and darkness, good and evil. Kids at this VBS learn how they can be part of God’s kingdom through salvation in his Son and will be equipped with the armor of God to become Keepers of the Kingdom who stand strong in today’s battle for truth.
